I have been collaborating with a few producers in a variety of style progressions to be released on the lacedmilk netlabel very soon. There is just so much good music being produced out there in the world today - Pandora and youtube have been both of my two realms for researching and soaking an infinite amount of sounds and inspirational elements.
My favorite music realms recently have been Nu-Jazz, Downtempo/Chillout, and Deep house. Yet, there is nothing like the sounds of experimental liquidy beats that often transcend all styles of music in themselves while maintaining static music elements.

- Thoughts on current sounds and the future.
I have been producing less and DJ'ing
more lately. This has been an interesting shift that has allowed
me to understand what kinds of sounds and progressions that
help to move audiences. I am glad to see the progression in
how club music is meshing with hip hop. It seems that hip
hop producers now are more accepting of house music and other
sub-genres, inversely are house producers more accepting to
mesh hip hop elements into their compositions.
This is a great shift that is occuring
in the labeled 'Mash up' realm of music. I believe this is
just the beginning of this realm progression, and that we
will see a lot more cross genre progression in the coming
months or years with respect to the integration of other styles
into club music, and even pop music for that matter.
Audiences of the future will one day
be genreless with progressions of sound flowing into boundless
aural segments of sound conglomerations. Hold on tight to
your aural awarenesses, because this is going to be a ride
out of this EAR(th).
2009 Projections
2009 is
here, and is a year to be filled with load of collaborations
between myself and other vocalists, instrumentalists, producers,
and tentatively projected will also be some multimedia presentations
of virtual visual stimuli, along with some experimental web
2.0 ladened installations.

- *New Album* - Fresh Mindstates - First Release in 2008.
Fresh Mindstates CD-r Available on
CD-Baby. - First Release in 2008.
"Fresh Mindstates runs through
a hybrid of parts from funky glitch breaks to melodic downtempo.
It is aimed at those who enjoy progressive types of sound
shifts through a variety of audio realm passages. The first
three tracks dwell in the realms of upbeat electronic funk
orientations, and the last two titled Liquid Soul Pt I and
II outro into the end of the album through more downtempo
dreamy groove passages."
Another futuredom added year to our
new millenium. 2007 was filled with many experimentations
in the upbeat D&B, and glitch arena, along with many collaborations
of melody oriented downtempo, and other hybrid variants. I
also enjoyed playing some live sets out at a few new venues
around the Florida area.
2008 will consist of a continuation
of pending 2007 tracks ranging in the realms of downtempo
and upbeat melody driven tracks. I also have a new album called
'Fresh Mindstates' to be released on CD. Im also working on
a few interesting remixes for other artists. TBA.
My goal and direction in 2008 is to
focus on the further blending of electronics and live instrumentations
including guitar, bass, drums, percussions, synths, and circuit
bent devices. I also look forward to working with vocalists,
and other guest instrumentalists.
Im also doing a resident show set @
the Womb internet radio to be broadcasted every first Wednesday
of every month from 8:00 to 10:00 pm. These shows shall be
filled with live sets, and lush melodious beat oriented tracks.

- Cosmic Pacific ep (PDR003) (Pelican Dump Netlabel)
Cosmic Pacfic ep is a hybrid mixture
of chopped drum and bass loops and glitchy upbeat rhythems
with blends of melodic passages, and robotic grooves. It represents
some of the tracks that I put together in the times of mid
to late 2007.
Pelican Dump netlabel is Nophi's R_Garcia's
new netlabel : "The Pelican Dump is an experiment in
the perceived value of music. Our M.O. is: "Take what you
want, pay what you want." In short, you may download all of
this music at will. All we ask is that you donate whatever
you feel is a fair price for the music. "

- Adore Remix for Rubikon (Substream / Sweeden)
Adore Remixed contains 5 different
mixes of Rubikon's electro pop debut single ranging from Voltaxx
and Audio Junkies clubby electro and house mixes to 80's vibe
mixes by Marc Mooga and Noiseburst and Line Noise's experimental
Orb-style mix this 5-track EP shows five new sides of Adore.
From Florida comes Rudy Gonzalez, a
young Brazilian-American producer who is true to his origins.
Line Noise's release 'Spacedust Planet' is a two parts release,
each one divided into three other sub-parts, but you should
listen to each of the three parts without track intervals.
Rudy combines Funk and Samba inspired percussion with glitchy
8bit effects, breaks and synth moods which are usually found
in old and not-so-old works of Intelligent Dance Music. Most
of 'Funk Litmus (Part I)' is assembled with the aid of the
Samba-like rhythms I spoke of earlier, building up its complexity
until close to the end of the track, when it joins into 'Part
II' and works its way off into a different set of beats, aesthetically
closer to IDM, shifting in style - going back to the Samba
beat a couple of times - until it turns into the last part,
'Part III' which sounds like a 'cleaner' version of 'Part
II'. More ambient grooves, less rhythm patterns and with a
splice of nostalgia. 'Coconut Portals' is a different exercise.
Rudy adds an 80's electric bass almost right from the beginning
which invites us to dance - or at least to nod. Again, it
grows complex through the second part. The bass takes some
time off and the beat turns dry and heavy. 'Part III' comes
sooner than we think - 'Funk Litmus' is a bigger track - and
comes descending, taking down some beats and upping some keyboards.
The Nite Cat ep is dedicated to the
nite felines that dwell in the late night hours awake. A 6-part
album with tracks blending into each other filled with melodic
glitchy downtempo-ish flows of aural travels.
Been listening to loads of quality
70s funk and uncovering some buried aural treasures scaterred
across the net on a load of netlabels. Lately i've been working
on a few new tracks to be hopefully released on a few netlabels...
My usual daily audio digestion usually
consists of a nice cup of Systrum sistem transmisions out
of Tokyo - Their playlists reflect well chosen selections
of audio works.

Well I finally put up my own artist
site with bleeps about what my latest projects going on are,
and other bits of information relating to my releases, events
im participating in, links, etc.
Some thoughts:
Music is so ever changing in the tastes
of many, and often there are so many great styles/genres that
sometimes end up being fazed out of the limelight and dragged
back into the underground. Each decade in the 20th century
has spawned such a high degree of aural riches, and as a result
of this musicians today are blessed with great amounts of
fertile palletes of sound to be influenced by, inspired by,
and to bring forth into their newly spawned musical works.
My current projects:
I have a few projects going on with
a few local producers & instrumentalists. Two projects
going on with pfb titled "Friends by the sea" &
"Circuit Thugs". Friends by the sea involves a more
straight ahead funk inspired dance tracks & Circuit Thugs
is an experimental hip hop project. My other project involves
a more phychadelic electronic rock including instrumentalists
Jason P. On my solo production, i've been leaning more towards
70s funk & abstract-jazzy electronics.
